The Blue Ridge Medical Centers offer the full range of services, from routine care to preventive screening and management of chronic health conditions:
- Yancey Campus: With a focus on the family and people of all ages, the Yancey Campus in Burnsville offers treatment by physicians board certified in family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine and orthopedics. You may also receive care by a certified Nurse Practitioner at this location. An Urgent Care Clinic for walk-in patients is available on Saturday and Sunday. Chronic Health Conditions
The Blue Ridge Medical Centers provide skilled diagnosis and medical treatment. However, helping our neighbors in the region maintain wellness is a top priority. One of the most important keys to living a productive life is to reduce the factors that increase your chances of developing a serious illness. We accomplish this by screening for risk factors and teaching you how to make the lifestyle changes that promote continued health.
The experienced staff at all of the Blue Ridge Medical Centers will support you through chronic health conditions including high blood pressure, diabetes, heart and lung conditions, high cholesterol and weight management. When appropriate, we'll refer you to targeted programs at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital such as the Diabetes Self-Management Program, Fitness and Rehabilitation and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.
Access II Care: Toe River Project Access
As part of North Carolina's Access II Care, Toe River Project Access provides low-cost health and dental care to uninsured residents of Mitchell and Yancey counties.
