The Blue Ridge Regional Hospital Foundation is selling engraved bricks for $100 that will become part of the healing garden, currently under construction in front of the

new main entrance of the hospital.  Purchasing a brick is a great way to honor a business or loved one.

Imaging Accreditation

Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, Cardiology/Radiology was recently granted accreditation by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories.  The laboratory is one of the first one thousand echocardiography laboratories in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico to be so recognized for its commitment to high quality patient care and its provision of quality diagnostic testing.

Healing Garden Coming

Construction may be winding down on Blue Ridge Regional's new clinical wing, but work has just begun on a healing garden located outside the hospital's new main entrance.  The healing garden will inlcude a brick patio and a landscaped garden with trees and benches.

A dedication ceremony will be held in May for major donors to the hospital expansion and members of the community who have purchased bricks.  In order to be included, your bricks must be purchased by April 30, 2008.  To learn more about purchasing a brick, call the Blue Ridge Regional Foundation at 766-1752.
